2026 Roadmap

Librem 16
It is coming in Q2 2026. Building devices from the ground up is time consuming. From molds to hardware kill switches to chip selection to PureBoot development to board bring up, it all takes immense capital, developmental expertise, and a care that only the Purism team can bring. While not trying to scoop our own announcement forthcoming, we can share some early manufacturing images of the designs and chassis c-shell.
Librem 14v2
It is coming after the Librem 16. Same specs you will love, same benefits you have come to appreciate from Purism, but this one in the smaller 14" screen form factor.
PQC Encryptor Long-Haul Certification
Years in the making to get to this point but our expertise is paying off. Later in March with our fiber-optic partner Ciena, we are conducting a long-haul certification test proving line-rate speeds with post-quantum cryptography for a large government agency that influences many other agencies. We are expecting big things from this and pushing to see the larger opportunities to begin closing near the end of 2026.
PureOS Crimson
